Amtal Islam

Amtal Islam with three children from Sheikhupura remarried after her husband died of cancer. She soon realized that her second husband had bad intentions towards her daughter. She left her husband and asked for khulla. Her husband not only refused but also threw acid on her.

She got registered with DSF in 2018. DSF is supporting the family by providing medical treatment to Amtal and educational assistance for her children. Alongside, she is also getting training of stitching and embroidery.

DSF also provided legal assistance through networking, as a result of which the culprit got 24 years of imprisonment.
