Ayesha Ashraf, a young teenage girl lives in Lahore with her parents and along with siblings. When Ayesha was only 2 years old, she met with an unfortunate accident. Playing near the kitchen, her foot slipped and she fell into the hot water pot which her mother had put on fire. Her head, face and one eye was severely burnt. She was given first aid at a nearby hospital. The doctor advised that since Ayesha was a growing child she should not go through surgical procedures during her early and middle childhood stages.

As she entered adolescence in 2018, her parents contacted Depilex Smileagain Foundation (DSF) and got her registered. Since then she has gone through two major reconstructive surgeries. Her scars on the face are too deep, therefore she has to undergo more surgical procedures. She is a brilliant and intelligent girl and has passed intermediate examination.   She actively takes part in the advocacy activities led by DSF for prevention of the heinous crimes of violence against women. She also wants to be trained as a beautician so that she may become a supportive member of the household. DSF will provide her the opportunity once her health is stable.
