A very sad event took place near Dev Kalan Village, Kamahan Road, Lahore when more than 40 youngsters suffered burns due to gas-filled balloons explosion. 18 severely burnt children were admitted in Jinnah Hospital and Mayo Hospital.
DSF’s team visited both the hospitals to show solidarity with the effected children and their families. The hospitals’ medical staff informed that after initial treatment a few children were released and the others would also go home in a couple of days. DSf team registered six severely burnt young children and assured required treatment for minimizing the effects of burn scars. The parents appreciated the visit of DSF team to share their sorrows in testing time. DSF team assured their full cooperation for the medical and moral support of scorched children.
