Rubina was also burnt due to a burn incident in Karachi and was brought to Depilex Smileagain, since then she has been receiving treatments and is making progress. Rubina has been associated with Depilex Smileagain Karachi since 2009 continues to receive treatments.
Depilex Smileagain is determined to make acid victims and burn victims smile again, and has always tried to help them with everything they need. It has provided them with psychological counseling, employment opportunities, beautician courses etc. Most of the victims have now started earning their own living. Rubina also recently got engaged to a man named Rustam, her engagement event was covered by Geo TV. Depilex Smileagain will be making all the arrangements for the wedding which is planned to take place in March 2013.
