Elizabeth Braw, Senior Reporter of Metro International Magazine, London, visited Depilex Smileagain Foundation head office and interviewed Musarrat Misbah and DSF survivors to develop an article on violence against women with a focus on the crime of acid and kerosene oil burning. Musarrat Misbah highlighted that the heinous crime of acid throwing on women was a great violation of human rights.

The way out is to educate and rehabilitate women and the fastest way to change society is to mobilize the women of the world. Depilex Smileagain survivors narrated their success stories and highlighted as to how they gained confidence and respect through economic empowerment. The journalist also visited the home of DSF survivor Sarwari Bibi who is supporting her family through a small home based business of making plastic medicine bottles.
