International Women Leadership seminar was held in Pearl Continental Hotel Lahore, focusing on leadership development ideas that can help women accomplish their career ambitions, maximizing the potential for both existing and emerging leadership in the workforce.
Masarrat Misbah and Ayesha Taslim participated as DSF representatives on invitation of Yasmeen Hyder, CEO of the New World Concepts – the organizing company.
As many as 150 women professionals and entrepreneurs from across the world attended the event. It was a unique chance for women delegates to learn about broadening horizons and overcoming personal and professional barriers from global and national success stories.
The international speakers included Janaki Kuruppu, Director Strategy and Perception, Sri Lanka and the Chairperson of the Sri Lanka Tea Board, Cecil Landsverk, Ambassador of Norway to Pakistan, and Zuhal Mansfield, Chairperson Turkish Egyptian Business Council. Masarrat Misbah exchanged views with the distinguished ladies and highlighted that as leader of Depilex Chain of Beauty Clinics she was helping the acid burn victims through Depilex Smileagain Foundation established under the corporate social responsibility.
Ayesha Taslim met a number of leading NGO representatives and exchanged program related notes.
