Kanwal Hammad

From middle class family in Karachi, Kanwal Hammad was a young, beautiful educated girl. She had high hopes and wanted to work as an air hostess.  Unfortunately she was married to an addict with conservative mind. She still worked hard to pursue her dreams. The day she got the appointment letter to join as an airhostess, her husband got furious and threw acid on her face ruining her dreams forever. She was left with mutilated face and body and a child to be taken care of.

She got registered with DSF in 2010 and DSF arranged several surgeries for her. Her health improved over a period of time. DSF arranged for her to work as Quality Assurance Assistant in a textile factory to support her children.
