Nafisa Hassan is an old lady living in Karachi. She is a housewife and has an adult son. Few years back she was diagnosed with epilepsy and since then has had epileptic fritz off and on. It was in 2016 when she was cooking in the kitchen and suddenly lost control because of an epileptic attack. She fell on the stove and her face, chest and hands were severely burnt. Her husband and son rushed and immediately took her away but much damage had been done. She was taken to nearby hospital for emergency services. Unfortunately, Nafisa lost one eye in this incident.

Her husband and son contacted DSF and got her registered in 2016. Since then she has undergone the required surgeries. Nafisa is lucky to have a supportive husband and son and they have taken care of her in hard times. But they are a poor family and cannot afford the expensive medical treatment.

Nafisa’s scars are not fully healed and doctors have recommended further treatment and more surgical procedures. For this we need your support and help. This Ramadan, donate generously to help Nafisa and other victims like her.
