Nazia Bibi is a middle aged lady and lives in Lahore. She is the mother of a teenage son leading a happy contented married life. She supported the household income by working as a cleaner at a school near her home. Life went on smoothly.

One of her cousins got divorced and opted to live with Nazia. They were childhood friends and Nazia was very fond of her cousin. Nazia’s cousin was very close to her heart so she wholeheartedly welcomed her stay. In due course Nazia made efforts and got a marriage proposal for her cousin. It materialised and soon Nazia’s cousin was remarried. However, unluckily the marriage did not work and ended in quarrels and divorce only after a couple of weeks. The cousin came back to live with Nazia. The cousin’s husband all along blamed Nazia for the failure of their marriage. One day when Nazia was walking back home from work, the grudging man followed her and then suddenly jumped in front, splashed acid on her. Nazia’s face, head and neck was badly burnt. She was rushed to a nearby clinic for first aid. The police were contacted and F.I.R registered.  As a result the culprit was arrested and got 20 years imprisonment.

Nazia got registered with DSF in the beginning of 2020.
