During the holy month of Ramadan, DSF launched a carefully planned advocacy campaign to help raise funds for the burnt victims. This included a TVC which was produced by DSF and was aired by leading TV channels as a gesture of goodwill and social responsibility. Liaison was also maintained by the marketing team to enable participation of DSF team in various Ramadan special live shows on leading TV channels.

The popular show hosted by Junaid Jamshed and Waseem Badami highlighted that domestic violence on women was against the teachings of Islam. Masarrat Misbah gave socio-cultural reasons prevalent in Pakistan due to lack of education and leading to gender based violence. Waseem Badami condemned the actions of males with a mindset to harm women. Live callers in support reiterated that such men should be severely punished. Masarrat Misbah, Rukhsana Sharfuddin, Nasreen Sharif, Kanwal Qayyum, Urooj Fatima, Beenish, Summi Khalid and Sabra Sultana represented DSF.
