Safia and Laiba

Safia with her four children from Lahore was burnt with petrol because her husband wanted to marry another woman. She lost two of her children in the fire incident.

She got registered with DSF in 2018. She along with her two children is under treatment. Safia and daughter Laiba are almost handicapped. Because of severe burns their hands are twisted and movements are limited. They still have to undergo many surgeries. DSF is also providing financial support to the family.

DSF also provided legal assistance through networking, as a result of which the culprit got imprisonment for 14 years.
