Saira Sabir

Saira Sabir belongs to Sialkot. She was working as a teacher and had four daughters. Her husband was very unhappy because there was no male issue and was always cursing and abusing her and was violent with the daughters also.

One day her husband threw acid on Saira severely burning her face and body. She got registered with DSF in 2016. After several surgeries, she is still unable to continue with her job as a teacher. She concentrates on her children’s education. DSF is providing medical treatment to her and scholarship for her children’s education.

DSF also provided legal assistance through networking, as a result of which the culprit got life imprisonment and fine for PKR 100,000/
