Sana Faisal is a middle aged woman living in Karachi. Few years back she was married and later became a mother of two children. Everything was going fine and she was happily living her modest family life, until when her in-laws joined and started living with them. Her in-laws used to create misunderstanding between Sana and her husband and this led to differences and daily quarrels among the couple. Sana’s in-laws used to tease her when her husband was at work. One day when Sana complained to her husband, he became furious and slapped her. Her in-laws thought of taking revenge and brainwashed her husband. Sana’s husband became so furious and wrathful that he locked her with the help of his parents. Taking advantage of the situation, his parents brought kerosene oil and spreaded on Sana then provoked her husband to lit a fire. Sana started screaming with pain but managed to escape the room. She was taken to a nearby hospital by her neighbours and provided first aid. Her neck and chest were burnt badly. She wanted to file a case against her husband and in-laws but she was pressurized by them to hold back the F.I.R. Sana is now living at her parents place with her children.

She got registered with DSF in 2019. Doctor advised one urgent surgery for the neck which DSF immediately arranged. Her scars are too deep and spread all over the body. She requires multiple surgeries over a long period of time. She has also shown interest to join a beauty course after her health becomes better. But that is a long way off.
