Depilex Smileagain Foundation was invited at the Annual Startup Expo at Pak China Friendship Center, Islamabad. Masarrat Misbah and Ayesha Taslim participated. Featuring 100 Startups from different categories not only showcased their products but also competed amongst each other for ten exclusive awards. The products and services were displayed to the people from all walks of life including corporate, entrepreneurs, academia, civil society and families. The ceremony included high profile speakers, mentoring sessions from seasoned entrepreneurs, panel discussions with gurus and startup award ceremony at the end.
Speaking on the occasion Masarrat Misbah commended the efforts of the organizers for bringing 100 startups under one roof and recognizing their efforts. She further added that through this exciting platform, corporate entities, key government ministries and academia has stood forth to develop mutual understanding on ideas and solutions that are quantifiable, systematic and strategically viable for promoting entrepreneurship in Pakistan.
In the comment book Ayesha Taslim put forth best wishes from DSF, hoping that the event will not only highlight the emerging ventures of Pakistan but will also offer exposure and partnership with a variety of businesses, to include but not limited to entrepreneurs, investors, academia and policy making institutes.
This initiative will showcase Pakistan being a land of opportunities.
