Masarrat Misbah was invited to participate in the Chamber of Commerce Exhibition of SAARC held in Kathmandu on the happy occasion of Diwali. During this visit she had the opportunity to meet the executive members of SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneurs Council. After learning about DSF activities Meera Jyoti showed keen interest in developing an exchange program with DSF on reciprocal basis.
Masarrat Misbah also visited BVS Burn Violence Survivors organization. Board member Kohinoor Dahal learnt about how DSF is managing to support the acid burn victims through its comprehensive approach including medical treatment, psychosocial support and vocational training for rehabilitation.
